Tuschinski theatre

The prestigious British magazine ‘Time Out’, various editors and art experts, have crowned Tuschinski the most beautiful cinema in the world. Tuschinski’s foyer was refitted with a new art deco carpet under the full supervision of CS rugs. A precise and long process as all drawings and color numbers were missing. By means of exact photography, the design has been digitally captured for reproduction. The new carpet measuring 13 x 15 meters and weighing more than 1000 kg (!) was delivered with a crane. Tough guys from the Amsterdam rowing club Skøll have put the carpet in place with united forces: a mega achievement.
